1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Sunshine Renewable Energy Florida LLC, doing business as Sunshine Renewable Energy (“Sunshine,” “we,” “us” or “our”). They apply to your use of https://sunshinerenewableenergyflorida.com (the “Site”), our forms, and the calls and text messages we send. By using the Site or submitting a form, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.
2. Our services and estimates
We help Florida homeowners evaluate, design and install residential solar energy systems. Information on the Site is general and for educational purposes.
- Estimates are not guarantees. Any savings, production or payback figure we give you is an estimate based on your past usage, your utility’s current rates, your roof, shading and weather. Actual results will vary, and utility rates, net metering rules and incentives can change.
- Taxes and incentives. We do not give tax, legal or financial advice. Ask a qualified professional about your situation.
- Plans and payments. Your monthly payment, savings and any incentive depend on each home and are given to you in writing before you sign. The written agreement controls.
- Written contract controls. Any purchase or installation is governed by a separate written agreement that you sign. If that agreement conflicts with these Terms, the written agreement controls.
- Interconnection. Turning on a grid-tied system requires approval from your utility and passing local inspections, which are outside our control.
3. Free home review
The home review is free and carries no obligation to buy. To schedule one you must be at least 18 years old and the owner of the home, or have the owner’s permission. We may decline or reschedule a review at our discretion.
4. SMS Terms (text messaging program)
Program: Sunshine Renewable Energy text messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help.
What you’ll receive
If you opt in, we send text messages from Sunshine Renewable Energy about your request, appointment confirmations and reminders, scheduling, project updates and customer care. If you also opted in to marketing messages, we may send offers and follow-ups about solar energy systems. You will only receive the types of messages you agreed to.
How you opt in
You opt in by checking the text-message consent box on our web form, by texting us first, or by giving us your consent verbally or in writing. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. The person who opts in must be the subscriber or authorized user of the mobile number provided.
How to opt out
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You can also reply CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, STOPALL or the Spanish equivalents PARAR or CANCELAR. We will send one final message to confirm, and then no more texts unless you opt in again (for example, by texting START).

Costs and carriers
Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and coverage, and we can’t guarantee it.
Privacy
We handle your mobile number as described in our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Changes to your number
If you change or give up your mobile number, reply STOP from that number or let us know, so messages meant for you don’t reach someone else.
5. Phone calls
If you give us your phone number and request contact, you agree that we may call you about your request. If you checked the marketing consent box, you also agree to receive marketing calls and texts, including calls and texts sent with automated technology or an artificial or prerecorded voice, at the number you provided, even if it is on a do-not-call list. Consent is not a condition of purchase, and you can withdraw it at any time by telling us or replying STOP.
We may use automated and AI-assisted assistants to answer calls and messages and to schedule appointments, with a member of our team available when you need one. Calls may be recorded or monitored for quality and training, and we will tell you when a call is being recorded.
6. Using the Site
You agree to give accurate information and to use the Site only for lawful purposes. Don’t submit someone else’s information without permission, try to disrupt or hack the Site, or use automated tools to collect data from it. The Site’s content, logos and design belong to Sunshine or its licensors and may not be copied without permission. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or practices.
7. Disclaimers
The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the extent permitted by law. Warranties for equipment and installation, if any, are provided only in your written agreement and the manufacturers’ warranties.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sunshine will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or our messages. Our total liability related to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute related to these Terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida, unless your written agreement with us says otherwise.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The new version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
